Dalton Community Acupuncture
Providing Affordable Access to Exceptional Care
Acupuncture provided by Marion Bergan, Licensed Acupuncturist.

Dalton Community Acupuncture provides high quality acupuncture treatments at affordable rates in a comfortable and supportive group setting. The cost for each visit is set on a sliding-scale of $25-$50. You decide what you pay with no questions asked.

Payment Methods:
Payment is due at the time of your visit by cash or check. To date, most insurance companies do not offer coverage for acupuncture, but that's ok, because the sliding scale is probably equal to or lower than an insurance co-pay would be.

I would never turn anyone away based upon their inability to pay. If you are on a fixed income, please let me know you cannot afford the usual rates and we will work out an alternative arrangement. Those who can afford to pay a little more subsidize those who pay less, and are greatly appreciated. Working together as a community allows everyone to receive affordable treatment.

Insurance, Disability, Workers Comp, No Fault, VA and Medicare:
If you have insurance that covers acupuncture, I am happy to provide you with an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. The fee you pay, covers only my expenses and the time I spend treating you. There is no “fat” built in to cover time for billing insurance companies, providing documentation of disability, or progress notes. Therefore, please be aware that I do not participate in any insurance plans, discount networks, Disability, Workers Compensation, No Fault, or VA reimbursement nor do I provide medical evaluations for these programs. Lastly, Medicare does not cover acupuncture.

Medical Reimbursement Accounts:
Many people take advantage of Health Reimbursement Accounts through their employers to pay for their treatments with pre-tax dollars. Acupuncture is a covered expense under these accounts and an itemized receipt is always available upon request.

Planning your visit:
The Stationery Factory is a 100,000 sq. ft. building with several parking lots and entrances. Please be sure to have Marion send you directions (or download them here) so you know where to park, and how to find Dalton Community Acupuncture with ease. Plan to come 10-15 minutes early for your initial visit to fill out intake forms.  Also, please be sure to wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up to your elbows and knees.  No tight pants, thank you!

About Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most common and dependable medical therapies used in the world.  It is by nature simple, safe and effective health care. Acupuncturists use hair thin, sterile, one-time-use disposable needles inserted superficially into specific areas of the body in order to help the body’s ability to heal itself.

Over the three decades or so in which acupuncture has developed in the U.S., it has been proven to be not only exceptionally safe when performed by licensed acupuncturists, but statistically effective in an increasing number of scientific studies.
